Some very important elements::

Recently I bookmarked these 3 photos for myself. When I looked at them side by side,  it occurred to me that there were so many great elements going on that I discuss with my clients all the time:

1. How to balance wearing bold colour through the use of colour-blocking. The key here is balance.  Pair a solid hue with another solid hue.  Start with neutral colours first, like camel and red, and then venture into bubblegum pink and navy territory.

2.  How wearing basic wardrobe items paired with accessories looks pulled together, modern and reflects your personal style. Without the clutch, belt and pointy shoes seen in Look 1, it would just be another casual striped t-shirt with a pair of pink jeans.  In Look 2, the gold accessories make the outfit.  Look 3 is an excellent example of this: without that scarf, the boots and her hair (your hair is your best accessory btw), this outfit might be boring.

3.  These looks prove that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to look good. If you invest in 1 basic wardrobe piece, such as Look 3′s leather jacket or boots, add in some well thought out accessories, that should be all you need.

4. And finally, perhaps the 2 most important elements: confidence and personality. Be confident about what you wear because it will show if you’re not.  If you concentrate on clothes that make you feel good, and not on “fashion” or “trends” you will always look amazing.
